One on One Dreamwork and/or Spiritual Direction

This type of session involves the dreamer and me. We begin with reading the dream (if written), or recounting the dream verbally. Next we look at the symbols in the dream and discuss what was happening in your life at the time the dream occurred, since dreams often respond to current living circumstances. If you prefer spiritual direction without dream work, then we will reflect on your life of prayer and how that connects with  your daily life.   All shared information is held in confidence. The cost for an individual session is $75.00 for 45 minutes.

Dream Groups

Dream groups involve the sharing of dreams in a group setting. Safe, confidential norms are set in place at the first meeting, and the groups consist of 3-5 members. The cost for participating in a dream group is $30.00. The length of each session is about 2 hours.

Dream Workshops

Dream workshops are held for a fee of $500.00 per day. A Dream workshop covers keeping a dream journal, working with symbols, engaging in varied dream practices, and exploring the Judeo-Christian significance of dreams in scripture. The number of people participating in the workshop can range from ten to fifteen.

Retreats

Christian retreats for Lent, Advent, grief and prayer are offered for $500.00 per day. The retreats are designed for groups as small as 5 people and as large as 100.

Theological Reflections

Theological reflection is a way of looking at the stories from our lives through a sacred lens. This type of reflection employs metaphor and imagination, culture and religious tradition in helping the seeker focus on how God is working in his or her life. The everyday events of life can reveal the tracings of a divine movement if offered in theological reflection. These reflections can be done in individual or group settings. (Groups involve 3-12 people.)

Wilkie Au and Noreen Cannon describe the significance of looking for God’s hand in the daily events of our lives:   "Christian Spirituality invites us to deepen our appreciation of the sacredness of ordinary life and to see that our regular routine of work and family life contains countless opportunities for spiritual transformation through self-transcendence."  Urgings of the Heart (13)
